Many adults have difficulty with everyday tasks, such as filling in forms or working out school dinner money, because they do not have the literacy, language, numeracy or computer skills that they need.

This course is aimed at Library and Reception staff, new lecturers or learner support staff.
If, however, you would like to be trained to work in sessions, alongside teachers, to help these learners improve their skills, then you should complete the full Level 2 Level 2 Certificate in Learning Support
This course will help you understand the learners that you are working with, teach you techniques to support their learnin, as well as improve your own literacy or numeracy skills.
Both of these courses are run at Lowestoft College, West Suffolk College, and Adult and Community Education.
