Skills for Life Teacher Education

All new Skills for Life (SfL) teachers appointed from 1 September 2007 will require (within 5 years)  a Diploma in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector (DTLLS).  This may be SfL subject specific or as an additional subject specific qualification with a generic DTLLS.  This leads to Qualified Teaching Learning and Skills (QTLS). 

 There is no Associate Teacher role in SfL subjects.
