PTLLS - PREPARING TO TEACH IN THE LIFELONG LEARNING SECTOR

This qualification will be taken by all teachers, in a full or associate role and is available at two levels (3 or 4).  It is a prerequisite for all people aspiring to undertake teacher education to pursue a career in teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector.  It will provide students with the knowledge, understanding and skills to undertake some teaching.  It comprises of one module which will be worth 6 credits.

30 guided learning hours and candidates should be involved in at least one hour of microteaching, in which they must deliver at least one 15 minutes microteaching session and either deliver additional sessions or observe microteaching sessions of other candidates
